On May 23, Priyanka will know ‘who is Duryodhana and Arjuna’ : Amit Shah

Kolkata | BJP President Amit Shah today responding to the Priyanka Gandhi’s Duryodhana jibe for Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Congress general secretary will know on May 23 that who is Duryodhana and who is Arjuna.

Addressing a rally in West Bengal’s Bishnupur, Amit Shah said,” Priyanka Vadra just called PM Modi ‘Duryodhana,’ Priyanka ji this is a democracy, nobody becomes ‘Duryodhana’ just because you called them so. We will find out on May 23 who is ‘Duryodhana and who is ‘Arjuna.’”

Earlier Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi addressing a rally in Haryana’s Ambala said that the BJP leaders try to divert the country’s attention in order to hide their failures. This country has never forgiven ‘ahankaar’ (ego). History is proof of this, the Mahabharat is also proof of this.

Gandhi further added, “When Lord Krishna tried to explain reality to him (Duryodhana), he tried to capture Krishna as well.” Priyanka Gandhi further recited a few lines from ‘Krishna Ki Chetawani’, a poem by Ramdhari Singh Dinkar. She said that a person’s intelligence is the first thing to die when he/she is about to be destroyed.

Priyanka Gandhi was responding to the PM Modi statement where he targetting Congress President Rahul Gandhi over Rafale deal said as “Your father was termed ‘Mr Clean’ by his courtiers, but his life ended as ‘Bhrashtachari No 1’ (corrupt number 1).”
