4 BSF Jawans Killed In Firing By Colleague, Shooter Dies Too

Amritsar: Five Border Security Force Personnel were killed after one of them fired open fired this morning, at the other four, this morning in Punjabโ€™s Amritsar, officials said. The shooter has been identified as Ct Satteppa S K, was among those who died in the incident. Another BSF Jawan is injured and is in critical condition. 

The incident took place at the forceโ€™s mess in the Khasa area, about 20 km short of the Attari-Wagah border crossing along the India-Pakistan international front.

The senior officer of the border force rushed to the spot, News Agency PTI said.

For ascertaining the facts, an inquiry has been ordered.
