BJP Only Party That Respects Contribution Of All PMs: PM Modi

Narendra Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked on Tuesday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the only political party that values and recognises all Prime Ministers’ efforts. He mentioned this in a speech to BJP parliamentarians at the Ambedkar Auditorium in New Delhi.

Modi said the upcoming Prime Ministers Museum is an example of the BJP’s commitment to acknowledge all of them irrespective of the parties they came from, said a party person aware of the matter.

At the parliamentarians’ meeting, a resolution was approved praising the decision to prolong the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, which was established in March 2020 in response to the Covid-19 outbreak, for another six months. At a Cabinet meeting on Saturday, the decision was made to extend the scheme that provides free rations.

PM Modi has also asked the lawmakers to participate in the party’s programmes from April 6 (BJP’s foundation day) to April 14 (Ambedkar Jayanti).

BR Ambedkar museum is also scheduled to be inaugurated on April 14 in the national capital, coinciding with the birth anniversary BR Ambedkar.

PM Modi, National BJP president JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah were among the top party leaders who attended the Parliamentary party meeting at the Ambedkar Centre in New Delhi today.

A series of programmes have been organised by the BJP from April 6 which marks the foundation day of the party to April 14, the day that marks the birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar.

Meanwhile, JP Nadda discussed the party’s upcoming foundation day programmes that must be done keeping public interest in mind, including blood donation camps, etc.
