Mumbai: Mumbai on Tuesday recorded 506 cases of covid-19, which is the highest since Feb 6 (536), While for the first time in 3 months, Maharashtra’s daily tally of Covid-19 cases crossed the 700 mark on Tuesday.
The testing in the city is going to be paced, according to the BMC.
Mumbai city guardian minister Aslam Shaikh said Maharashtra will impose another lockdown if Covid cases continue to surge and exceed thousand in the state, according to sources.
The current active cases in the city are 2526. However, the recovery rate in Mumbai is currently 98%.
