This is not the first time, Naresh who was earlier in Congress as well, sparked off a controversy. It was just last year, that the BJP had gone blazing guns over his comment in the Upper House jeering Hindu Gods.
Ghulam Nabi Azad, the opposition leader today while making an address to the retiring Rajya Sabha members took a jibe at Naresh Aggarwal, the new BJP member.
Azad, stated it in the Upper House of the Parliament, “Naresh Aggarwal ji ek aise suraj hain, idhar doobe, udhar nikle, idhar nikle udhar doobe. Mujhe yakeen hai jis party mein vo gaye hain vo unki kshamta ka poora upyog karegi (Naresh Aggarwal is like a sun, who sets in one direction and rises from another. I’m sure that whichever party he moves into the party will be able to use his skills to its maximum advantage).”
Aggarwal who had lost to Jaya Bachchan with regards to re-nomination for the upper house had quit the Samajwadi Party and had joined the BJP. Much to BJP’s discomfiture, after joining the party, he stated, “I have been reduced to somebody who used to work in films. For somebody who used to dance in films, act in films, I was denied a ticket (for Rajya Sabha). I did not find it appropriate.”
However, this is not the first time, Naresh who was earlier in Congress as well, sparked off a controversy. It was just last year, that the BJP had gone blazing guns over his comment in the Upper House jeering Hindu Gods. His term in the capacity of the Rajya Sabha member will come to an end on 2 April.
