Jaishankar: ‘Awaiting Release Of 69 Indians From Russian Army’

India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar said in Lok Sabha that the country was awaiting the release of 69 Indians from the Russian army. He said that this matter was taken up seriously by the government. Jaishankar said: “We should not jump the gun and say Russians are not serious on this matter..”.  Reports say Russian President Putin had agreed to discharge all Indians from its army following his meeting with PM Modi.
