Kargil Observes Shutdown, Calls For Ladakh’s Statehood

Shops shuttered as thousands demanded statehood and Ladakh’s inclusion in the Constitution’s Sixth Schedule. A panel formed in November aims to address Ladakh’s concerns post-Article 370 revocation and J&K’s bifurcation.
