The death toll due to Coronavirus in India has reached 6348. India reports 9,851 new cases and 273 deaths in the last 24 hours.
New Delhi| For the second consecutive day India recorded more than 9000 coronavirus cases in a single day. This is also the biggest ever hike in cases. With this India has recorded the world’s fourth fastest-growing Coronavirus outbreak. As per the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India now has 226770 cases of Coronavirus. Out of them, 110960 are active cases whereas 109462 have been cured/discharged or migrated.

Maharashtra remains the worst affected state with 77793 cases. Among them 41402 are active cases, 33681 have been cured whereas the death toll is at 2710.

The state is followed by Tamil Nadu with 27256 cases and Delhi with 25004 cases. Gujarat remains the fourth most affected state with 18584 cases and 1155 deaths.
Madhya Pradesh: On Thursday, 174 positive patients were found and 6 people died. Infection cases have increased to 58 in Bhopal, 36 in Indore, 11 in Burhanpur, 10 each in Sagar and Neemuch, while 7 in Gwalior. The number of patients in Bhopal increased to 1630. On the other hand, 8762 corona patients have been found so far in the state. 377 lost their lives.
Maharashtra: 2933 new cases were reported here on Thursday. Maximum 123 people died and 1352 recovered in a single day. In Mumbai alone, more than 44000 are infected. The containment zones in the city have increased to more than 700.

Bihar: 126 positive patients appeared in the state on Thursday and 3 died. 12 were found in Khagaria, 13 in Purnia, 10 in Gopalganj, 5 in Patna, while 4 patients each were found infected in Banka, Gaya, Saharsa and Madhepura. The number of patients in the state now stands at 4452. 28 people have lost their lives due to corona.
Uttar Pradesh: 367 infected patients were found in the state on Thursday. The number of new patients increased by more than 300 for the third consecutive day. There are 62 migrant workers in these new cases. So far 2466 migrant workers have been found infected. The figure of the infected reached 9237, while 245 patients died.
