Babri Demolition Verdict On 30 Sep, Advani, Joshi Told To Be Present

Former deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, BJP stalwarts Murli Manohar Joshi, Kalyan Singh and Uma Bharti are among the 32 accused in the case.

The verdict in 28 years old Babri Demolition case will be delivered on September 30. S K Yadav, the special CBI court Judge, will deliver the verdict, Hindustan Times reported. He has asked all the accused to be present in the court. Former deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, BJP stalwarts Murli Manohar Joshi, Kalyan Singh and Uma Bharti are among the 32 accused in the case.

The court, earlier this month, completed all proceedings in the case by recording statements of all 32 accused.

The date set by the court for the verdict has been confirmed by the lawyer KK Mishra, who is representing 25 out of the 32 accused in the case, including senior BJP leaders LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Kalyan Singh, Uma Bharti.

The date of verdict is also in line with the one month extension granted by the Supreme Court, instructing the special CBI court to wind up the case by September 30.
