It is yet not clear what will be the topic of PM Modi’s address. However, speculations are rife that he might speak on the border tensions between India and China in which 20 Indian soldiers were martyred on the unfateful night of June 15. Though both the countries decided to disengage in the subsequent military-level talks, some media reports say that Chinese have started the activities in the region.
This will be PM Modi’s sixth address to the nation during Coronavirus lockdown. Earlier he had addressed the nation on following days:
March 19 – Janta curfew announced in first address
March 24 – 21-day lockdown in second address
03 April – Appeal to light the lamp in the third address
April 14 – Lockdown-2 announced in fourth address
May 12 – 20 lakh crore economic package announced, Lockdown 4.0 announced
