India has reported 9,983 new Coronavirus cases and 287 deaths in the last 24 hours.
New Delhi| India remains one of the most affected by the Coronavirus pandemic with daily increase in cases. As per the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India now has 256611 cases of Coronavirus. Out of them, 125381 are active cases whereas 124095 have been cured/discharged or migrated.
The death toll due to Coronavirus in India has reached 7135. For the third consecutive day, India has registered more than 9000 Coronavirus cases in a day. India reports 9,983 new COVID19 cases and 287 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Maharashtra remains the worst affected state with 85975 cases. Among them 43601 are active cases, 39314 have been cured whereas the death toll is at 3060.
The state is followed by Tamil Nadu with 31667 cases and Delhi with 27654 cases. Gujarat remains fourth most affected state with 20070 cases and 1249 deaths.

Madhya Pradesh: On Sunday, 173 patients of Corona were found and 13 people died. Infections increased to 39 in Bhopal, 27 in Indore, 12 in Gwalior, 10 each in Khargone and Morena. A total of 9401 people have reported positive in the state. The country’s monasteries, temples, mosques, churches and gurdwaras are going to open from June 8, but no religious place will be opened in Bhopal.
Uttar Pradesh: On Sunday, 433 new patients appeared and 7 people died. Infections were increased in Ghaziabad, 46 in Bulandshahr, 21 in Muzaffarnagar, 18–18 in Meerut and Kanpur, 17–17 in Agra and Gautam Buddha nagar, 16 in Baghpat and 15 in Aligarh. So far, 10 thousand 536 patients have been found in the state. Of these, 4076 are active cases.
Maharashtra: A record 3007 patients were found here on Sunday. 91 people including a TV journalist died. The death toll from Corona in the state has risen to 3060. Now 85 thousand 975 are infected. Of these, 43 thousand 601 are active cases. More than 3 thousand policemen were found positive in the state and 30 have died.
Bihar: 239 positive patients came on Sunday and one died. There were 36 patients in Supaul, 30 in Muzaffarpur, 19 in West Champaran, 15 each in Samastipur and Munger, and 10 in Sitamarhi. A total of 5070 infected have been found in the state, out of which 2635 are active cases. So far, 30 people have died from Corona.
