India Records More Than 1 Lakh Coronavirus Cases For Third Consecutive Day, Active Cases On Rise

On Wednesday, India had a record 1,26,789 new Coronavirus cases. On Tuesday too, the number of newly infected people was recorded to be more than 1.15 lakh.

 

The coronavirus cases are hitting record high everyday in India leading to panic among people once again. More than one lakh new cases of corona were reported in the country for the third consecutive day. According to the WorldoMeter, 1,31,787 new cases of coronavirus were detected in 24 hours as of Thursday night, the highest number of corona infections ever found since the onset of the epidemic. On Wednesday, India had a record 1,26,789 new cases. On Tuesday too, the number of newly infected people was recorded to be more than 1.15 lakh.

According to the latest data, the growing graph of Coronavirus Cases is disturbing. The total number of new infections has crossed four lakhs till now. The cases under treatment have also crossed 9 lakh. Whereas Coronavirus recovery rate in the country has come down to 91.67 percent and the rate of active cases has gone up to 7.04 percent. The mortality rate is however down to 1.29 percent.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at eight o’clock on Thursday morning, after the death of 802 more patients in the country, the death toll increased to 1,67,694. There has been an increase in the number of patients treated for 29 consecutive days in the country. The cases under treatment also increased to 9,74,174, which is 7.04 percent of the total cases.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 25,26,77,379 samples have been tested for Covid-19 in the country so far. Of these, 12,37,781 samples were tested on Wednesday.

 

Till date more than 9.40 crore doses of vaccine have been given in the country

So far, more than 9.40 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccine have been given in the country. The Union Health Ministry gave this information on Thursday. According to the report at eight o’clock at night, a total of 9,40,96,689 doses of the vaccine have been given so far.
