India Reports Biggest Single-Day Hike In Coronavirus Cases Again, Death Toll Now At 6075

India reports 9,304 new Coronavirus cases and 260 deaths in the last 24 hours.

New Delhi| India remains one of the most affected by the Coronavirus pandemic as it has reached fourth place in the list of countries reporting maximum Coronavirus cases Daily. It has recorded world’s fourth fastest growing Coronavirus outbreak. As per the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India now has 2,16,919 cases of Coronavirus. Out of them, 106737 are active cases whereas 104107 have been cured/discharged or migrated.

The death toll due to Coronavirus in India has reached 6075. India reports 9,304 new COVID19 cases and 260 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra remains the worst affected state with 74860 cases. Among them 39944 are active cases, 32329 have been cured whereas the death toll is at 2587.

The state is followed by Tamil Nadu with 25872 cases and Delhi with 23645 cases. Gujarat remains fourth most affected state with 18100 cases and 1122 deaths.

Madhya Pradesh: According to the Department of Health, 168 new positives were found in the state on Wednesday. Among them 41 were found infected in Bhopal, 27-27 in Gwalior and Indore. With this, the total number of infected was 8588. At the same time, the number of those who died was 371.

Maharashtra: 2560 patients were found in the state on Wednesday. A record 122 patients died in the state on Wednesday. Of this, 49 patients died in Mumbai alone. Maharashtra Police said on Wednesday that 47 policemen were found corona positive in the last 24 hours. With this, 2,556 policemen have been infected in the state so far.

Uttar Pradesh: 168 infected were found in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. With this, the number of infected in the state has been 8588. The total death toll in the state rose to 371.

Bihar: 230 positive patients were found in the state on Wednesday. 85 were found in Khagaria, 14 in Sitamarhi, 14 in Samastipur, Bhagalpur 10, Darbhanga 11, 4 in Saharsa and 2 in the capital Patna. So far 25 patients have died.
