Earlier on Friday afternoon, four militants were killed by security forces in Kilura area of ​​Shopian, while one was arrested.

According to tthe report, based on the input received from the terrorist arrested in Shopian, the search for terrorists was started in Jadura late on Friday night. As soon as the security forces arrived, the terrorists started firing. Three terrorists were killed in the counter fire.

On August 17 and 18, there were encounters in the Kariri area of ​​Baramulla. Three militants were killed by the security forces in these encounters. These included two Lashkar commanders Sajjad alias Hyder and Usman. Hyder was the main conspirator of the Bandipora killings. He used to recruit youth in terrorist organization. Foreign terrorist Usman killed BJP leader Wasim Bari, his father and brother.

On August 19, two encounters between security forces and militants took place in Shopian in South Kashmir. During this time a terrorist was killed. On this day, two terrorists were killed in Ganipora of Handwara.

On August 28, four militants were killed by security forces in Kilura area of ​​Shopian. One was arrested. He was associated with the Al Badr terrorist organization. Army said that two AK-47s and three pistols were recovered from the terrorists. So far 10 terrorists have been killed here in the last 2 weeks.
