Lockdown In Parts of Thane, Weekend Lockdown In Nashik As Coronavirus Cases Continue To Rise In Maharashtra

At the same time, the lockdown has been imposed from 11 March to 31 March at 11 hotspots in Thane city.

 

Due to rising cases of Coronavirus, there will be a lockdown during the Weekend in Nashik and many other restrictions will come into effect from Tuesday. After reviewing the situation along with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, the administration decided that marriage programs would not be allowed in the district from March 15 onwards. Only those who have received permission till March 15, will be allowed to conduct the wedding. At the same time, the lockdown has been imposed from 11 March to 31 March at 11 hotspots in Thane city

All the shops can be opened from 7 am to 7 pm except for the service of essential goods.
Restaurants will be open till 9 pm. Home delivery has been allowed until 11 o’clock at night.
School-colleges and coaching classes will remain closed in Nashik City, Malegaon and where the transmission rate is high. The UPSC and MPSC exams have already been decided on their own schedule.

More than 3 thousand cases found in 8 days in Nashik

In Nashik, 3,725 new corona cases have been reported in the last 8 days. On Monday, 644 cases of corona were reported here. So far, a total of 1 lakh 31 thousand 990 people have been infected with Corona. On an average, 700 to 800 cases a day are being reported in Thane every week.
