Fadnavis earlier had said that after Diwali he will bring some proofs forward, against Nawab Malik. Fadnavis said that it took a while as it was too late to collect the paper.
Allegations made by Fadnavis were a serious issue related to national security. Fadnavis also asked why Malik bought land from those who did blasts in Mumbai.
Fadnavis claims that Sardar Shah Wali Khan and Salim Patel sold the on LBS road to a company named SOLIDUS. The Solidus Company, to which the land was allotted is the company of Nawab Malik’s family. Nawab Malik was once a member of the Solidus Company. Now he has resigned. But his family is in that company
Solidus bought the land in 2007 for Rs 2,053 per square foot. The three acres of land were bought from the people of the underworld for just Rs 30 lakh. Out of which Rs. 20 lakhs were given. Rs 15 lakh went to Salim Patel’s account. So, Shah Wali Khan got 5 lakh. A lot of scams were done to show the low price of land.
Fadnavis further allegedly questions, “The transaction started in 2003 and ended in 2005. Nawab Malik was then the Minister. Why did they buy land from the Mumbai bombers? Why did these criminals give three acres of land to Nawab Malik for only Rs. 30 lakhs ?”
The state government confiscates the land of TADA accused as per rules. Fadanavis inquires that was he given this land so that it would not be confiscated?
He also said that this was not the only example. There are five such properties. The underworld is directly involved in four of these property transactions.
