Noida Film City: Yogi Adityanath’s Meet With Bollywood Artists Rattles Maha CM

As per the plan, Film City will be developed on thousand acres in Sector 21 of Yamuna Authority Area. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced this.

 

Greater Noida| UP CM Yogi Adityanath reached Mumbai on Tuesday and met film stars amidst the political battle over the UP Film City. Many celebrities from Akshay Kumar to singer Kailash Kher came to meet CM Yogi. Yogi’s flash visit and recent comments on Film city has however rattled Maharashtra government.

Before Yogi’s visit, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray without naming his UP counterpart said that one cannot forcibly take business from here. On the other hand, preparations for Film City in Noida have gained momentum. The authority has sought applications from the agency by December 3 to make a detailed project report (DPR) of Film City. Technical tender will be opened on 7 December. The company will be selected by 15 December.

Search for agency preparing DPR

As per the plan, Film City will be developed on thousand acres in Sector 21 of Yamuna Authority Area. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced this. Since the announcement of CM, Yamuna Authority has been engaged in the development of Film City. Yamuna Authority is looking for an agency to prepare the DPR for the film city. For this, Request for Proposal was taken out on 29 October. The tender was to be opened on 25 November.

The company will submit a feasibility report in 2 months

The authority extended its date to December 3. Now applications will be taken till Wednesday. Yamuna Authority’s OSD Shailendra Bhatia says that the technical tender will be opened on 7 December. After this all aspects will be tested. The agency will be selected by 15 December. He said that the selected company will submit the feasibility report in 2 months. While DPR will be given in 3 months.
