Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared some pictures of Shri Kashi Vishwanath on his Facebook on December 13. Among them are the views of the Kashi Vishwanath temple, the new temple built around it, the pavilion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor on Monday. Picturesque pictures of Kashi Vishwanath have also come to the fore. Some of these pictures have also been posted by PM Modi on Facebook, in which there are views of Kashi Vishwanath temple, new temple built around it. Kashi Vishwanath Corridor Project has been completed in 2 years and 8 months. It is known that in 1669 Ahilyabai Holkar got the Kashi Vishwanath temple renovated. After about 352 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Vishwanath Temple Corridor on 8 March 2019 for its revival.
In about 2 years 8 months 95% of the work of this dream project has been completed. At present, 2600 laborers and 300 engineers are working in this corridor in three consecutive shifts. You can also take a look at the beauty of this corridor through pictures.
Kashi Vishwanath Dham built in 5.25 lakh square feet is also called Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. It has 23 small buildings and 27 temples.
The Kashi Vishwanath Temple is almost ready. In the entire Dham, 24 buildings are being constructed in about 50000 square meters, which include the main temple complex, temple square, Mumukshu Bhawan, city gallery, multipurpose hall of refreshments, passenger facilitation center, etc.
A big campus of 24 buildings is being built on the other side of the temple, whose main door will come from Lalita Ghat towards the Ganges. The Varanasi Gallery is quite important in this complex.
Vishwanath Corridor is divided into two parts. The main complex of the temple is built with red sandstone. 4 big gates have been installed in it. A circumambulation path has been built around it.
A circumambulation path has been made all around. 22 marble inscriptions have been placed on that circumambulation path, in which the glory of Kashi will be described. In this, 22 inscriptions are being put in which there are praises related to Lord Vishwanath.
The foundation on which the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor is being realized has around 400 houses and hundreds of temples and about 1400 people have to be rehabilitated.
According to the administration, 27 temples were found in Kashi Khandok in the 400 houses that were acquired in the construction of the corridor, while about 127 other temples were found which were famous temples. Those temples are also being protected which are Kashi Khandokata temples.
