New Delhi : Rajya Sabha has passed the bill to repeal three farm laws, amid the sloganeering by the opposition leaders. Opposition parties are protesting for the withdrawal of the farm laws.The Anti-farm laws was passed in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

Congress also protested at Parliament house demanding the repeal of the farm law. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as well as the Congress have issued whips to its MPs asking them to be present during the session today.

After the Lok Sabha passed the Farm Laws Repeal Bill, protesting farmers at Tikri Border said they are happy but will not go home till all their demands are fulfilled. Their demands include legal guarantee of MSP, cancellation of cases against farmers and compensation to families for martyred farmers.

Opposition parties are protesting for the withdrawal of the farm laws. Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi is leading the Congress party's protest demanding repeal of Centre's three farm law.

TMC MPs are holding protest in Parliament, demanding discussion over Farm Laws Repeal Bill. "TMC wanted to have a discussion on Farm Laws Repeal Bill but the government is afraid to discuss the conditions of the farmers. The government is not giving Opposition a chance to speak on behalf of the farmers," said TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee.
