Thousand More Cases In 24 Hours Take India’s Coronavirus Toll To 14378, Death Toll At 480

Maharashtra remains the worst affected state due to Coronavirus with 3323 active cases of Coronavirus. The state registered 201 death toll.

 

New Delhi| The active Coronavirus cases in India today reached 14378 whereas the death toll reached 480. 1992 people have been recovered from Coronavirus, showed the data from the Union Health Ministry. While the Coronavirus cases in the country are rising, Luv Agrawal, Joint Secretary of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday informed that the rate of doubling of Coronavirus cases has slowed down.

Maharashtra remains the worst affected state due to Coronavirus with 3323 active cases of Coronavirus. The state registered 201 death toll, the highest among the states in India. However, 331 people have either been cured/discharged or migrated.

Dharavi, the hotspot of Coronavirus In Mumbai recorded 100 cases and 10 deaths due to Coronavirus. The city of Mumbai has recorded more than 1500 cases of Coronavirus.

After Maharashtra, the national capital Delhi has recorded the second largest Coronavirus Cases. The COVID 19 Toll in Delhi has reached 1707 whereas the death toll has climbed to 42.
