Mumbai| In a surprise twist in the tale that left everyone shocked, Maharashtra’s caretaker CM Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra at Raj Bhavan.

More surprisingly, NCP leader Ajit Pawar took oath as the deputy chief minister. Minutes after they took oath, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated both of them.

The unexpected development has left everyone shocked as on Friday the three parties held a joint meeting at Nehru Science Centre. After coming out of the meet Sharad Pawar said that the three parties are unanimously proposing Uddhav Thackeray’s name.

Talking about the development, Devendra Fadnavis said that their ally ShivSena went against the mandate and tried to ally with NCP and Congress. “This will be a khichdi government. It wouldn’t have lasted long,” he said.

On the other hand, Ajit Pawar taking this step had left everyone with a question whether Sharad Pawar has blessed his move. Moreover, there is further question of how many MLAs will be joining him?
