New Delhi : CBSE has considered a question asked in the Class 12 Sociology exam held on Wednesday, on the 2002 Gujarat riots as “inappropriate” as its mistake. This news has been given in the English newspaper Indian Express.
According to the news, in the question paper of Sociology it was asked that during the tenure of which government there was anti-Muslim violence in Gujarat in 2002. As an answer, these four options were given, Congress, BJP, Democratic and Republican. After asking these questions, CBSE has apologized and has promised to take “stern action” against the “persons responsible” for it, calling it “unfair”.
CBSE wrote on Twitter, “A question has been asked in Class 12 Sociology Term 1 exam today which is inappropriate and in violation of CBSE guidelines for external subject experts to prepare question paper. CBSE accepts this mistake And strict action will be taken against those responsible for this.”
CBSE wrote, “CBSE guidelines for question paper preparers say that they have to ensure that the questions should be of academic type only and should not touch an area which may hurt the sentiments of the people based on social and political interest.” can hurt.”

The CBSE guidelines for paper setters clearly state that they have to ensure the questions should be academic oriented only and should be class, religion neutral and should not touch upon domains that could harm sentiments of people based on social and political choices.

Omicron’s first case in America
The first case of Omicron, a new variant of the corona virus, has been reported in America. This variant has been found in a passenger who recently returned from South Africa.
The English newspaper Hindustan Times writes that the Omicron variant was identified by scientists from South Africa. For the first time in the US, a patient of this variant has been detected.
The person in whom this variant has been found is fully vaccinated but he has not received a booster dose.
He returned to San Francisco from South Africa on 22 November. The reports of people who came in contact with him have come negative.
That person was found to be Corona positive on 29 November and now he is in Quarantine. The San Francisco and California Department of Health have confirmed this case.
