Election Commission Shares Electoral Bonds Data With Alphanumeric Code

On Thursday evening, the Election Commission published all electoral bonds-related information on its website. The latest data reveals a clear connection between bond donors and recipients. Earlier, the State Bank of India informed the Supreme Court that it had provided the Election Commission with comprehensive details, including unique bond numbers with alphanumeric codes linking purchasers to political parties.

State Bank chairman Dinesh Kumar Khara affirmed this in an affidavit to the court. The uploaded lists display purchaser names, bond denominations, unique bond numbers, encashing party names, the last four digits of their bank account numbers, and bond denomination details.

Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials have reached Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal‘s residence to deliver summons related to the Delhi excise policy case. Kejriwal’s legal team has urgently petitioned the Supreme Court for a hearing.

Around eight probe officers are conducting searches at his home to serve him the 10th summons. Kejriwal, also the Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor, faces scrutiny in this case.
