IED Explosion Damages Bridge Linking Manipur And Nagaland

An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion damaged a bridge connecting Imphal in Manipur to Dimapur in Nagaland on Wednesday. The bridge, located on National Highway 2, passed through Koubru Leikha, Sapermeina villages, and Kangpokpi district. The blast, which occurred around 12:45 a.m., caused three craters and cracks. No injuries were reported, but heavy vehicle movement on the highway was restricted.
