Karnataka HC Dismisses CM Siddaramaiahโ€™s Plea Challenging Governorโ€™s Sanction For His Prosecution In MUDA Scam

In a setback for the Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday dismissed the petition by CM Siddaramaiah challenging the Governorโ€™s sanction for his prosecution in the alleged MUDA scam.
A single judge bench pronounced the verdict. Senior Supreme Court advocate and Congress MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi argued for Siddaramaiah, while Solicitor General Tushar Mehta represented Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot.

According to an Economic Times report, the alleged MUDA scam involves the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), where less valuable land in a remote area has reportedly been swapped with prime land.
