Manipur Govt Allocates Funds For UPSC Candidates Traveling Outside State

The Manipur government released funds on Friday to provide allowances for candidates from hilly districts who traveled outside the state to take the UPSC-CSE 2024, in compliance with Supreme Court directives. Each candidate is entitled to Rs 3,000 per day for three days, totaling Rs 9,000 per candidate, as stated by Khumanthem Diana Devi, Deputy Commissioner of Imphal East District.
