Khawaja Asif has made astounding claims and comments, amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, after the Pahalgam attack on Aprill 22.
On Monday, the minister said that a strike from India was imminent after the dreadful terror attack in Pahalgam.
While speaking to Reuters, he said “We have reinforced our forces because it is something which is imminent now. In that situation, someone must make strategic decisions, and they have made those decisions.”
The attack in Pahalgam has enraged many people in India and many have demanded to take strict action on Pakistan.
Asif earlier said, “We have been doing this dirty work for the US for the past three decades, including the West and UK.”
He then said it was a “mistake,” and that Pakistan has paid a heavy price for its decisions.
In the meantime, India announced multiple measures against Pakistan within 24 hours of the attack. This includes the breaking of the Indus Waters’ Treaty.
Meanwhile, even New Delhi announced the closing of the Integrated Check Post (ICP) which is at Attari. The Indian administration has suspended all high-ranking Pakistan nationals Pakistan officials’ visas and removed high-ranking Pakistan officials from the system.
