Uttarakhand: 14 Dead, 16 Injured As Tempo Falls Into Gorge

A tempo traveller with 26 passengers fell into a 250-meter-deep gorge in Uttarakhand’s Rudraprayag district, killing 14 and injuring 16. The accident occurred near the Alaknanda River on the Badrinath Highway. Seven injured were airlifted to AIIMS Rishikesh, while nine were hospitalized locally. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami ordered an investigation.
