The BJP retained power in Arunachal Pradesh for a second term, winning 46 out of 60 seats. In Sikkim, the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) achieved a decisive victory with 31 out of 32 seats, defeating the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF). The National People’s Party won five seats in Arunachal Pradesh, People’s Party of Arunachal two, Nationalist Congress Party and independents three each, and Congress one.
