New Delhi: On Thursday Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi launched an attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over privatization of state-run companies, alleging major discrepancies and crony capitalism.

Yesterday Rahul Gandhi said “#BechendraModi is selling out the country’s PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) to his suited-booted friends that took years of hard work to build.

Gandhi also posted a cartoon on twitter account by showing the prime minister ‘selling’ Air India, BPCL and India.

Rahul Gandhi attacks the government and PM Modi in the run-up to state elections in Haryana and Maharashtra. On Tuesday, Gandhi referred to the Prime Minister as a “loudspeaker” for certain industrialists, claiming that his strategy was like that of a pickpocket who diverts people’s attention to steal people’s money.

“Modi is the loudspeaker of big businessman Adani and Ambani. sometimes small areas who distract people before stealing, his only job is to divert your attention so that he can pass your money to select industrialists,” Gandhi said this while campaigning in Vidarbha’s Yavatmal for the Maharashtra assembly elections on October 21.

Rahul Gandhi said “It is a time of uncertainty and fear for millions of PSU employees. I stand shoulder to shoulder with all those employees in protest against this loot and cheat,”.

Gandhi claimed that the BJP government’s pro-rich policies had caused India’s economy to dive. “When a poor person gets money, he starts purchasing things. When the demand increases, manufacturing gets a boost,” before going on to add that the Congress-proposed NYAY minimum income scheme would have jump-started the economy.

Rahul Gandhi is speaking very aggressively in its rally about the current government failure such as serious joblessness and economic slowdown.
