“Every rioter is shocked… this is Yogi government,” says Yogi Adityanath office Twitter handle

Lucknow| Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has justified the action taken against the protestors accused of violence during protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act in the state. In a tweet from the Twitter handle of Yogi Adityanath’s office, it has said that the government’s action in UP has surprised everyone. The tweet says that now everyone who destroyed Public property in the state will cry because there is a Yogi government in UP.

In a tweet, it said that every rioter must be thinking why did he challenge the UP govt headed by Yogi Adityanath, watching the strict actions taken by him. “The kind of action the government is taking against rioters has become an example in the whole country,” The tweet read.

In another tweet, it said that compensation was sought from the miscreants who damaged public property. “UP is completely calm now,” he said.

“Every rioter is shocked. Every troublemaker is shocked. Seeing the strictness of the Yogi government, everyone is silent. Do anything, now the compensation will be from the one who did the damage, this is a declaration of Yogi ji. Every violent activity will cry now because there is a Yogi government in UP,” It said in another tweet with #TheGreat_CmYogi

Stricter security arrangements in UP

In view of incidents of violence, security arrangements have been made in the state. Violent protests and subsequent police action in the new citizenship law in the past has taken about 20 lives in the state. During the violence, the process of confiscating the property of those who have damaged public property has begun. More than 370 people have been given notices in different districts. According to reports, 288 policemen have been injured in the violence so far, 61 of them have been injured in the firing. At the same time, 327 FIRs have been registered while 5558 people have been taken into custody.
