A day after Congress leaders staged a day-long fast across the country, the BJP has announced that it will also observe a day-long fast on April 12. While Congress on Monday, staged a hunger strike to protest the increasing Dalit atrocities, the BJP will be protesting the logjam in parliament during the budget session which resulted in a negligible transaction with no major issues being taken up for discussion. The parliament session ended in the logjam between the opposition and ruling BJP.

Reportedly, PM Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah to observe day-long fast over disruptions during the budget session of the Parliament. According to reports, Amit Shah who is on a campaign trail in Karnataka will be conducting a sit-in dharna in Karnataka’s Hubballi on April 12.
