Iltija Mufti, Daughter of Mehbooba Mufti asks administration to shift her mother to a better place for winter

Iltija Mufti wrote a letter stating if anything happens to her mother, the central government of India to be held responsible

Iltija Mufti, daughter of Mehbooba Mufti-former Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for how long the detention will go on. As the climate is extremely cold in the valley, she asked state administration to shift her mother to a place equipped to fight the harsh winter.

Iltija wrote a latter to Srinagar deputy commissioner, stating the Centre will be responsible if anything happens to Mehbooba.

“I’ve repeatedly raised concerns about the well being of my mother. I wrote to DC Srinagar a month ago to shift her someplace equipped for the harsh winter. If anything happens to her, the Indian government will be responsible”.

After detention Iltija handles Mehbooba Mufti’s Twitter. She posted a photograph of her handwritten letter to the Srinagar deputy commissioner.

“As you are aware my mother Ms Mehbooba Mufti, former CM J&K has been jailed since 5 August. A doctor recently ran multiple tests on her as she was not keeping well. As per those tests, her Vitamin D, haemoglobin and Calcium levels are low,” Iltija Mufti wrote.
