IT Department Raids Residence of MK Stalin’s Son-In-Law Where Prashant Kishore Conducted Strategy Meetings

According to sources, Prashant Kishore who has helmed the responsibility of devising election strategy for DMK used to conduct strategy meetings at MK Stalin SIL Sabareesan’s residence.

 

Chennai| Assembly elections are due in Tamil Nadu. Just a few days before the state goes to poll, the Income Tax Department is conducting raids at several locations in the state. The raids are also being conducted at the residence of DMK leaders. Raid is underway at the residence of one of the DMK leader, MK Stalin’s Son-In-Law Sabareesan. Apart from his house, raids are going on at several locations connected to him.

According to sources, Prashant Kishore who has helmed the responsibility of devising election strategy for DMK used to conduct strategy meetings at Sabareesan’s residence.

The DMK had earlier claimed political vendetta by the BJP during the recent raids at residences linked to DMK strongman EV Velu. Income Tax officials had also made cash seizures during the raids at 10 locations at his hometown Tiruvannamalai.

In Tamil Nadu, voting will be held in 234 seats in the same phase on April 6. Votes will be counted on May 2. The political rhetoric is expected to intensify with the action of the Income Tax Department on the locations of MK Stalin’s son-in-law before voting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tamil Nadu on Thursday evening. Today he will address several rallies for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its alliance AIADMK. PM Modi will address rallies in Madurai and Kanyakumari today.
