Kamlesh Tiwari murder: Suspect created fake Facebook ID to befriend the Hindu leader

The Gujrat ATS found that Ashfaq had created a fake Facebook ID with a Hindu name ‘Rohit Solanki’. He had then befriended Kamlesh Tiwari.

 

Lucknow| The Kamlesh Tiwari murder case is getting more and more complicated instead of getting solved. While state police claimed that the accused killed Tiwari-former Hindu Mahasabha President for his 2015 statement, allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammad, his mother and family have a different story to tell. They blame the local BJP leader for his killing.

However, the UP police have now made a startling revelation. According to police the key suspect in the Kamlesh Tiwari murder case-Ashfaq Hussain-who is on run had made friendship with Kamlesh through social media site Facebook. UP police informed that their Gujrat counterparts, the state ATS found that Ashfaq had created a fake Facebook ID with a Hindu name ‘Rohit Solanki’. He had then befriended Kamlesh through facebook and had asked him to meet on October 18-the day Tiwari was killed.

Blood-stained clothes and Towel recovered from the hotel room

UP DGP O.P Singh had earlier informed that while 5 have been arrested, two were still on the run. The two have been identified as Ashfaq Hussain and Moinuddin Pathan. Their identities were confirmed after police recovered CCTV footage from the hotel they had stayed in. The police reportedly also found blood-stained saffron clothes and towel from their room.

Killers knew Kamlesh Tiwari

The police had earlier said that the killers were acquaintances of Kamlesh Tiwari. For about half-hour, they were having chat with Tiwari. After that, one of the assailants along with Kamlesh’s son went to buy “Paan”. This is when the other assailant slit Kamlesh’s throat and pumped three bullets in his chest.
