Like Congress, Naidu’s TDP will become ‘Empty of MLAs’: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Vijayawada | Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP leader on Sunday hitting out at N Chandrababu Naidu said that his Telegu Desam Party (TDP) will soon become ‘Empty of MLAs’ similar to the Congress party in Karnataka and Goa.

Speaking to media on TDP leaders joining BJP, Chouhan said,’ Chandrababu Naidu during the Lok Sabha elections was more inclined towards the National politics rather than focusing on his own state. He concentrated on abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi instead of the development work in the state”.” The leaders in Naidu’s TDP are willing to join the BJP and it will soon become empty of MLAs like the Congress,” he added.

Taking a dig at the Congress and the resignation of Rahul Gandhi as party president, Chouhan said,” Congress president ‘Ranchod Das Gandhi’ jumped from the ship and left it to sink. Due to this various Congress MLAs in Telangana, Goa and Karnataka are joining BJP.”

Criticising Rahul Gandhi, the BJP leader claimed that Mahatma Gandhi after Independence had asked Jawaharlal Nehru to dissolve Congress but he did not listen to him. Real Gandhi’s dream is not bee completed by fake Gandhi
Chouhan’s statement comes after 4 TDP Rajya Sabha MP had quit the Chandrababu Naidu led party and joined the BJP.
