Maharashtra and Haryana Election Results Live Update: ShivSena leader Aaditya Thackeray wins by massive majority from Worli constituency

<Three days after the states of Maharashtra and Haryana cast their vote, the results will be out. The results will spell whether the Euphoria of Modi Sarkar 2.0 still continues to rule or has it subsided. It will also prove to be a litmus test of Modi govt’s decision such as abrogation of Article 370 as it made it its election plank.

Maharashtra assembly elections

Today is a result day in the state of Maharashtra which had voted on 21st October 2019 for 288 assembly seats. Its a challenge for present Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis as election results are going to decide whether Maharastra throne will be regained by BJP or someone else. BJP’s major alliance partner also is Ex-factor in this election as ShivSena leader Aaditya Thackeray and the first member from his family is contesting election from Worli assembly seat and it is his first election experience. Nagpur South and Worli, South Karad, Baramati, Kothrud Nanded, Latur, Kankavli these constituencies are most watched as they will decide whether Present CM and Aaditya Thackeray will reach assembly or not.

The exit poll says that the results could be almost the same as the 2014 assembly elections in Maharashtra. BJP- ShivSena together could form the government. So one political party could not get a clear mandate alliance government is always the only option to form a stable government. In the exit poll, BJP could get 109- 124, SivSena to 57-70 and whereas INC to 32-40, NCP 40-50 seats are predicted.

Haryana assembly elections

The state of Haryana had tough battle between BJP and Congress for 90 seats. More than 60% of people voted for the state. The state has always gone through anti-incumbency in every state election. This election BJP once again fielded the same chief minister candidate Manoharlal Khattar. The Congress party, on the other hand, has not declared any chief minister candidate but is giving a tough fight to BJP. JJP could also gain some seats in Haryana and also become major key to form the government.

Today seats such as Rohtak, Karnal, Kurukshetra will be most watched. The exit poll of Haryana is quite surprising as some have predicted 30 – 42 seats for Congress and 32 – 44 for BJP and JJP around 6-10 others could get 6-10.
