Breaking: NDA government clears the No-confidence motion with clear majority

New Delhi | The NDA government on Friday successfully defeated the No-confidence motion issued by the Telegu Desam Party (TDP) in the Lok Sabha over the issue of a special status for Andhra Pradesh.

The Lok Sabha members after a 12-hour long discussion over the No-confidence motion voted for No-confidence motion. 325 members voted against the No-confidence motion while 126 members voted in favour of the No-confidence motion. BJD and Shiv Sena opted for a walkout from the No-confidence motion. 451 members voted in the No-confidence motion issued by the TDP. Other leaders like Pappu Yadav along with KC Patel and Bhola Singh opted for a walkout citing various reasons.
