After Northeast victory, BJP appoints Sunil Deodhar co-incharge of Andhra Pradesh

New Delhi | The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on Monday appointed senior leader Sunil Deodhar as the State co-Incharge of Andhra Pradesh along with Rajya Sabha MP V.Muraleedharan who is appointed as the State Incharge of Andhra Pradesh.

Sunil Deodhar was the key figure in BJP’s landmark victory in the NorthEast region mainly in defeating the Manik Sarkar led Left front government in Tripura. Deodhar is also appointed as the National Secretary of BJP. While Muraleedharan was earlier the Kerala BJP State president.


In an issued Statement, BJP president Amit Shah appointed Advocate PS Sreedharan Pillai as the Kerala BJP state president. The position was vacant after former chief Kummanam Rajashekharan was appointed as the governor of Mizoram Governor in May 2018.

Amit Shah also appointed Dushyant Kumar Gautam as the National Vice President and Y Satya Kumar as the National Secretary.
