“Not Jobs, North Indian workers lack qualification”: Santosh Gangwar

Santosh Gangwar said that there is no shortage of jobs in the country. However, there is a lack of merit among the people of North India.

Lucknow| Union Minister Santosh Gangwar has raised questions on the merit of the people from North India. Gangwar was speaking to the media in Bareilly about the completion of 100 days of the Modi government. In a shocking statement, Santosh Gangwar said that there is no shortage of jobs in the country. However, there is a lack of merit among the people of North India. “Officials coming here to recruit for jobs tell that the candidates do not possess the necessary skills and qualification for the position they are recruiting for. They do not have that ability,” Gangwar said.

“Govt wants to escape by insulting North Indians”:

His statement has now created a ruckus across the country. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has retaliated. Priyanka Gandhi said, “Your government has been in power for more than five years. Despite this, jobs were not created in the country. The jobs are being taken away due to the economic recession brought by the government. Young people are looking at the way that the government is responding. You want to escape by insulting the North Indians. It will not work.”

BSP and AAP retort:

On the statement of Gangwar, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati and Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh targeted him. Mayawati said that various Union Ministers made ridiculous statements regarding the serious problem of economic downturn, etc. in the country. Instead of solving the unemployment problem of the country, to say that there is a lack of merit in the north Indians is very shameful for which they should apologize to the country.”

At the same time, Sanjay Singh has described Modi’s minister’s statement as an insult to North Indians. He said that there is a lack of merit in this government itself. The minister should tell who is responsible for the mess in the economy. Sanjay Singh said that Santosh Gangwar himself comes from North India. What does such a statement mean?
