While granting bail, the Mahad court had asked Rane to furnish a bond of Rs 15,000. Nashik Police wants to match Rane’s audio with his statement.
After making an objectionable ‘Slap CM’ statement against Uddhav Thackeray, Union Minister Narayan Rane’s troubles do not seem to get any lesser. He was arrested by the Nashik police on Tuesday. He was later released on bail. Now the Nashik police have sent a notice to Rane in a case registered with them, asking him to appear before them on September 2.
The first case against Narayan Rane was registered in Nashik itself and a warrant was also issued against him. Meanwhile, Rane’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra has been postponed for two days. A petition is likely to be filed in the Bombay High Court today to quash the 4 cases filed by Rane against him.
