Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, wished Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on his 54th birthday.

Arvind Kejriwal holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has worked with Tata Steel in the initial days of his career.

However, he resigned in 1992, having taken a leave of absence to study for the Civil Services Examination. He joined the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) as an Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax in 1995, after qualifying through the exam.
Arvind Kejriwal was highly influenced by the Jan Lokpal movement led by Anna Hazare and was known to be a close aide of Mr Hazare. In 2012 he formed the Aam Aadmi Party.
MR Kejriwal has been the CM of the national capital thrice, however, the first term lasted only 49 days.
Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP are not eying the upcoming Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections.
