In a sensational claim, Sanjay Raut also alleged that BJP President Amit Shah kept PM Modi in dark about the 50:50 formula.
Mumbai| Amid the political upheaval in Maharashtra, ShivSena MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday once again accused the BJP of betrayal. He said that the 50-50 formula was discussed with BJP. Talking to reporters for the first time after his discharge from hospital, he said that the room in which this conversation took place between Uddhav Thackeray and Amit Shah is not “any” room. “It is the room of late Balasaheb Thackeray, which we consider a temple. We swear by Balasaheb. We are not lying,” Sanjay Raut said.
In a sensational claim, he also alleged that BJP President Amit Shah kept PM Modi in dark about the 50:50 formula. Uddhav Thackeray in a press conference had earlier said that the rotational CM formula was decided between him and Amit Shah in a closed-door meeting at Matoshree. Devendra Fadnavis was also informed about this. However, Raut’s allegations have raised several questions.

He also said that the ShivSena will die, but will not go back on the promises it makes. “It is a matter of honour for Maharashtra. This is the same room from where Balasaheb used to bless Narendra Modi. This is the same room from where world leaders would come and bow before Balasaheb,” he said.
No 50:50 deal decided: Amit Shah
Earlier in an interview to the news agency on Wednesday, BJP President Amit Shah had said that hundreds of times before and during the elections in Maharashtra, Narendra Modi had said that if a coalition government is formed then Our Chief Minister will be Devendra Fadnavis. “No one had lodged any protest then. Now they (ShivSena) are coming up with new demands and this is not acceptable to us,” Shah said.
ShivSena MLAs leave the resort
Meanwhile, ShivSena MLAs left the resort late on Wednesday. The ShivSena MLAs were stationed at the resort in Malad for several days. It is being told that Uddhav instructed all the MLAs to go to their respective constituencies. Earlier, there was a late-night meeting between NCP and Congress leaders over the Common Minimum Program.

Pawar said – Ajit said intentionally, he is going to Baramati
Earlier, a statement by NCP leader Ajit Pawar caused panic. On Wednesday afternoon, Ajit said that the meeting with Congress was cancelled. Barging out of the meeting venue, he told reporters, “I am going to Baramati.” In such a situation, news spread in the political corridor that NCP will no longer support ShivSena. However, only half an hour later, NCP chief Sharad Pawar dismissed all these speculations. He said – “Even if Ajit Pawar says something funny, media follows him. Because of this, there is no privacy for them. That is why he said intentionally.” To confirm this, the photo of the meeting was also made public by NCP.
