Taking inputs from MLAs; you will see the Chief ministers very soon: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi | Congress President Rahul Gandhi while responding to the chief ministerial selection in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan said that the party is taking inputs from the MLAs and workers.

Speaking to reporters, Gandhi said, “We are taking inputs from different people in the party. We are taking inputs from MLAs, from workers. You will see a Chief Minister soon.”

Earlier Ashok Gehlot one of the probable in the Chief Ministerial race of Rajasthan said,” Observers have taken everyone’s opinion, in a peaceful way. Congress President Rahul Gandhi had to take a decision, observers have arrived in Delhi. A discussion will be held and the decision will be taken today.”

The Congress party has emerged victorious the recently concluded assembly election of the states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. Ending the 15 years of governance of BJP in Chhattisgarh, Congress has won 68 seats in the 90 seats Chhattisgarh assembly. While in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the Congress although emerging vas the single largest party falled short of the majority mark. In Rajasthan, Congress won 99 seats in the 200 seat assembly while in Madhya Pradesh it won 114 seats in the 230 seat assembly. However, with Support of independents and BSP it has staked the claim for the government in both the states.
