Watch: Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters Recites Aamir Aziz’s ‘Sab Yaad Rakha Jayega’

The legendary musician was at a protest in London demanding the release of Wikileaks founder Julian, where he mentioned Aamir Aziz’s poem.

London| Pink Floyd co-founder and guitarist Roger Waters mentioned Aamir Aziz’s poem at a protest in London while fighting for the release of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange earlier last week.

In his speech to the many gathered, the legendary music icon made a reference to India’s anti-CAA protests, as well as protests occurring in other countries like Argentina, Chile and France.

Roger Waters was captured on camera reading activist & poet Aamir Aziz’s poem ‘Sab Yaad Rakha Jayega’ in English.

Roger Waters completed the recital with the words, “This kid has got a future.” Both the statement and Aamir Aziz’s poem was met with a round of applause from the audience.

The original composition by Aamir Aziz was released online around two months ago when New Delhi first started protesting in huge numbers against the Citizenship Amendment Act.
