New Delhi | Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telegu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu demanding tough actions on terror attacks like Pulwama said that army should not be used for political gains.
Criticising the ruling NDA government over the Pulwama terror attack where 40 CRPF personnel were killed, Naidu said, ” The threat to national security is because of the inefficiency of the ruling party.” He alleged that BJP leaders are belittling the nation with their petty actions and wrongdoings. He further stated that the opposition won’t tolerate someone jeopardizing the national security for its self-interests.
Reacting to the Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement over the Pulwama attack, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister said,” There are many apprehensions over Imran Khan’s statement.”
40 CRPF personnel were killed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district in a terrorist attack when a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist identified as Adil Ahmed rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the bus they were travelling in. More than 2,500 Central Reserve Police Force personnel, many of them returning from leave to rejoin duty in the Valley, were travelling in the convoy of 78 vehicles when they were ambushed on the Srinagar-Jammu highway at Latoomode in Awantipora.
