On Sunday in Uttarakhand’s Pauri Garhwal district’s Srinagar area, a bus fell in the accident. Six people died, and 22 others were reported injured.
The accident took place near Dahalchauri, where the bus went out of control and fell into a 100-meter-deep gorge, according to the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
The bus from Pauri was en route to Dahalchauri. Officials said there were 28 passengers on board, and in addition to that, five people were declared on the spot.
The injured person was taken to the Pauri district hospital, and the local people helped with the rescue operation after the accident.
Ashish Chauhan, district Magistrate of Pauri, reached the spot and conducted a speedy rescue operation under his supervision.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed deep grief over the accident and prayed for the injured’s speedy recovery.
