On Thursday, the Supreme Court dismissed a petition from Nikhil Gupta’s family seeking consular access and legal aid for his indictment and extradition to the U.S. The case involves allegations of plotting to kill Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun on U.S. soil. The court deemed it sensitive, respecting the foreign court’s jurisdiction. According to his family’s complaint, Gupta, arrested in the Czech Republic in June 2023, has been denied consular access, family contact, and legal representation.
