The newly appointed President of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), Nana Patole, began his stint aggressively as he threatened Bollywood celebrities of obstructing the shootings and release of their movies for not tweeting over the rising prices of fuel and LPG.
“The Modi government has increased the prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas. Today, the petrol price has touched Rs 100 whereas cooking gas is being sold at Rs 800. This has increased the common man’s sufferings. People are expressing their anger against the Modi government. When there was a UPA government in the centre, many celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar would criticise the government by tweeting about the rise in fuel prices. Now that the fuel prices have reached a record high, these celebrities have kept mum. We will stop the shooting and movies of celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar in Maharashtra, who tweet on the order of the BJP,” Nana Patole said. #AksayKumar #AmitabhBachchan #NanaPatole #DishaRavi #NBSA #Congress
