Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh is keeping India backward: Says NITI Aayog CEO

And today, NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant has said Eastern part of India particularly states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh & Rajasthan is keeping India backward, especially on social indicators. We’ve remained backward on human development index. He also added that the part of western and southern parts of India is doing well and developing speedily. Amitabh Kant had further added that India is still at 131 out of 188 countries in the Human Development Index. While political parties, be it the ruling government or the opposition parties, are focusing its energies on dividing on caste and community. Health, nutrition, infrastructure, education, and development seems to be taking the huge hit.
